Facility Management Graduate Awarded from IFMA's Forty Under 40

Mr. Mohamed Ashik is one of the people who awarded from IFMA’S forty under 40program in 2020. IFMA’s forty under 40 programs will collect, applaud and share the FM’s stories under 40 who succeed in the facilities management industry. Its selection is being accepted for young professionals who are positively affecting the facilities management industry
When saying about Mr. Mohamed Ashik, he was a student of Isipathana College and done advanced level in commerce stream. After A/L he entered into the University of Moratuwa and successfully completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).facilities management degree with a second upper. It’s the basic foundation in his career path. Apart from that done NEBOSH, master of business administration and management in the University of London, GREENS associate professional energy and sustainability in green building council of Srilanka. It helped him to go ahead in his career path. He has different skills relevant to the FM industry such as maintained management, energy management, facilities management, engineering management, operation management, procurement, project management, environment management system, HVAC, AutoCAD, budgets, languages, computer literacy, sustainable design, sustainable energy, change management and etc. He has good experience in this industry because he working as a facilities manager since 2012 under different organizations.
Then he works as a Facilities Manager and deputy head of corporate services at the British high commission and also as a visiting lecturer in the University of Moratuwa and having a handful of experience in the industry as well as in lecturing. He positively impacts success for the FM industry. Considering those things, he was nominated to award under IFMAs forty under 40 program as a successful person in the industry.
