Guideline for the Home Quarantine / Quarantine in Non-Healthcare Settings
This is a guideline for home quarantine or quarantine in non-healthcare settings provided by the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health & Indigenous Medical Services of Sri Lanka. Home quarantine refers to keeping individuals with high-risk contracts separately. High-risk contacts include individuals returning to Sri Lanka from countries where local transmission has been established for coronavirus infection, and those who had maintained close contact with a suspected or diagnosed case of COVID- 19. This provides a guideline to individuals who are quarantined to be followed and there is a guideline to self-monitoring with active public health supervision mentioning roles and responsibilities of the medical staff in case of a home-quarantined individual.
