IFMSL provides a code of ethics/ professional conduct for facilities managers to perform their job fulfilling expected requirements of the profession. It provides a list of responsibilities of the FM professionals in fulfilling the required expectations of different parties in terms of the performance of their profession. Different types of responsibilities have been list out under 5 categories as the responsibility to serve and promote the public interest and community values, to the profession, to serve their client or employer in good faith, with honesty and fairness, to undertake Continuous Professional Development, and towards other members and colleagues in the field of Facilities Management.
