The first Viva session to assess the Professional Competence required for the IFMSL membership category upgrade was held on 2nd April 2016 at the College of Quantity Surveying, Narahenpita. Associate members who had completed and submitted the diary issued by the institute participated in the Viva. Candidates were interviewed by a panel of four members headed by Mr. Elmo Fernando, President of IFMSL, with regard to their professional practice within the Facilities Management Industry. Following candidates, who were successful will be awarded the Member Grade after ratifying by the council of IFMSL, at the Annual General Meeting 2016.
