Facility Manager is a profession who plans, organizes, leads, and controls most of the areas and can be considered as a hero of a workplace. Machine learning, which is a part of AI facilitates to control, analyze, and predict outcomes of the building automatically with data. Since this, the facility manager can monitor and control issues of the building environment easily.

Currently wearable technology such as smartwatches and Fitbits are a trend among young generation. In the workplace, FM uses this technology for collecting personal data, employee patterns, resource allocation and space management. Wearable technology with integrating employee experience apps resolves the issues regarding the employment by using real time data.

FM handles the non-core business of an organization. It is not only the maintenance however includes the management of changing needs of the employment and compete with the digital world to enhance the productivity of the building. The impact of the new technologies of FM optimizes the current situation of the building environment.
