• Beacons – small wireless tools used to transfer data via Bluetooth. These devices can be used for security purposes such as monitoring the state of machinery, tracking locations, and verifying ID.
• RFID trackers – these are used to access control, asset monitoring, track real-time location, and track the number of employees in one place.
• Automated transportation – used to the item transportation purpose without human interaction.
• Data analytics and visual tools – used to visualize data for analyzing purposes.

IoT is a better option in FM to handle the non-core business. The facility manager can ensure the efficiency as well as the safety of the workplace while reducing the operating cost through this technology. This is a smart platform in FM which creates an agile environment in the workplace.
