Dr. Nayanthara De Silva is a Chartered Engineer and member of Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) who completed PhD, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, M.Sc. (Building), National University of Singapore and B.Sc. (Hons) in Engineering (Civil) University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

She is a Chairperson in Curriculum and Evaluation Committee of Faculty of Architecture, a Undergraduate Coordinator of B.Sc.(Hons) Facilities Management degree programme, a Programme Coordinator of M.Sc. in Occupational Safety and Health Management degree programme, Faculty coordinator (Architecture) of HETC project and a Resource person of Safety lectures conducted by the Safety Division, Department ofLabour,2014. 

Dr. Nayanthara De Silva is a published author regular contributing to multiple publications of books, book chapters and international (refereed) journal papers.
