Founder President of IFMSL, Mr. Elmo Fernando is a Consultant, Charted professional engineer, Charted quantity surveyor and Charted facility manager who expertise in Project management, Cost management, Value engineering, Conflict avoidance & Dispute resolution.
He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia, Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors (RICS) UK (QS/PM/FM), American Society of Civil Engineers, Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka (IQSSL) and Institute of Facilities Management Sri Lanka. Also a member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK.
Mr. Elmo Fernando served as Former Vice President of IQSSL and Former Vice Chairman RICS Sri Lanka, also served as External Examiner in BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying & Facilities Management, University of Moratuwa, appointed by Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors UK (RICS) and BSc (Hons) in QS and BSc (Hons) Construction Project Management at Colombo School of Construction Technology, appointed by University of Salford, Manchester.
Currently serving on the Havelock City Project from 2017 and he has 24 years’ experience in projects on Overseas Reality Ceylon PLC as General Manager.
