Social media has become a daily element in our lifestyle and most people have addicted to using social media in their daily life. This is the reason for presenting the Facilities Management sector in social media more and more. It's not difficult to use and it provides freedom to find out new opportunities to enhance the work FM professionals do, also it improves Facilities Management activity’s visibility. Therefore, it makes it very easy to communicate with our buildings’ users quickly by providing them with information about activities we develop within the FM Department, which permits them to become more involved with the building they use and reduce tension when few changes occur.
It is very important to think that if we plan to be available on social media, we must be open to interaction. Social media is not static sites, they provide an efficient and effective platform to interact with others. This is another reason why they are useful for the clients to make the FM Department know what they might want and like.

When considering emergencies, it is possible to give some preparation training about how to respond to these circumstances through social media. Then again, social media can give the FM Department a more human face and improve their action's visibility. According to the perspective of an FM professional, social media also can be a method to work with FM systems administration and to be up-to-date with best practices.
